~ François Emile Barraud (1899-1934) ~
François
Emile Barraud was a mostly
self-trainer Swiss artist, painting in
a Realist style during the 1930s. A
number of his paintings seem to
connect with the Magic Realism
movement of the early 1930s. François
was one of four brothers, all of whom
were painters. He died young at 35
years of age.
