Monograffi Fine Art Galleries ~ Albert Henrich
(1899-1971) ~ |
Albert Henrich studied the
techniques and compositions of the
seventeenth-century Dutch painters,
embracing the genres of still life,
landscape and portraits that were
cultivated in that era. Henrich's
oeuvre falls into the mainstream of
Neue Sachlichkeit, but because his art
was mainly apolitical at the time he
was allowed to exhibit under the
National Socialists.
